How did you end up at Perfect Patients?

I had spent 17 years in the chiropractic field. Originally, I worked at the front desk, a position that later evolved into being a health assistant. In this role, I assisted with new patient examinations and training new staff, which ignited my passion for teaching others.
I obtained a job at Perfect Patients as an account manager, taking care of our international clients. When the need arose, I started training new employees. Later, when we developed the client support department, I was asked to be the head of it and gladly accepted.

What are your words to live by?

I love guiding my team members and seeing them move on and thrive in different roles within the company. My mission is to educate, motivate, encourage and inspire, and that’s what I get to do every day, whether for our employees or clients. A positive mindset is a vital part of my mission, and I like to bring that vibe to our client support team. Though we work remotely, I want to bring a sense of community to everything we do.

How has chiropractic changed your life?

My son was the first of our family to see a chiropractor. He was about three when he started having hearing problems. The medical doctors were talking about removing his adenoids and draining his ears. Fortunately, someone suggested we try chiropractic. Within a month, his hearing and entire personality were completely transformed. That’s when my entire family started care, and it allowed the frightening dizzy spells that would leave me in bed for a day to completely disappear.

What do you do in your spare time?

I am on a lifelong quest for knowledge. Whether it’s reading books, surfing the internet or poring over any other source, I’m thirsty to learn more about our world, other people or myself. I think if you’re not learning, you’re dying, so I’m always trying to grow as a person. I’m also a health nut, so I exercise every day and eat a balanced diet.
I have three awesome kids, and being a mom was the best job I’ve ever had. I love spending time with them, and with my two dogs, too.

What might people be surprised to find out about you?

I used to be an esthetician and makeup artist and enjoy helping people discover how to enhance their natural beauty. It’s such a great creative outlet! Something else people might not know is that I’m an avid soccer player. I’ve done it my whole life and even coached middle school boys’ soccer, which allowed me to further indulge my love of training and teaching.
