What led you to Perfect Patients?
As a bit of a workaholic, I was working 16-hour-long marketing days and needed a change. I wanted to be respected not only for my work ethic but also for my time. The Perfect Patient family was an opportunity to have both. I was overjoyed meeting staff members and listening to their personal journeys within the company. After hearing everything, I knew it was the perfect opportunity for me.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the ability to work with lots of people from the comfort of my own home and to save lots of money on gas every year, but most importantly, I love being able to help someone by directly impacting the growth of their business and helping them reach a higher level than they anticipated was possible.
Tell us about your work experience
I have been working in Marketing in and around media for over 30 years – specializing in Brand Strategy, Media Placement (Traditional and Digital Media Ads), Creative, SEO, Email Marketing, and Large-Scale Event and Promotional Marketing. I also worked in Media Sales for a time being, and was the Director of Marketing for ABC TV, amongst other brands, working in both contractual consultant roles, as well as for privately held companies. I have been a wearer of many hats if you will.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like working and love traveling, and really enjoy doing those two things together from anywhere, and spending as much time as possible with my children and family.
Do you have a favorite travel memory?
I have two. We visited Oregon and then traveled by car all the way back to Florida visiting major sites and cities over 2 1/2 weeks, including the Redwood Forest, the Grand Canyon, San Francisco, Yosemite, Vegas, Albuquerque, the Painted Desert, Death Valley, Area 54 (well, we didn't visit it, but saw the parking lot), San Antonio, New Orleans, and a slew of other great sites. We also spent 3 weeks in Europe visiting London, Pisa, Tuscany, Florence, Rome, Sicily, Mykonos, Kotoolon, Napes, Venice, Santorini, Ephesus, and Madrid. It was a trip of a lifetime and I cannot wait to visit Paris, Ireland, and Israel next. My favorite places are Key West, New Orleans, and Florence.
What are some of your other favorite foods or things?
I love Italian food, pretty much any kind of Italian food and coffee; I must have lots of coffee!
What might people be surprised to find out about you?
Ha. I once had a counterpart tell me that I could create a promotion out of a stapler. So, I have a rule. "no idea is a bad one". That is because any idea can lead to "the" idea. I am very humble and helpful because I wouldn't have the skills I have today if someone else hadn't taught me and for that, I am forever grateful. I used to sing, but now not so much and I once trained a team of dancers who performed on stage at The Grand Ole Opry and in Opryland.
