What led you to Vortala?
2 years ago I started my recruitment journey with a recruitment agency in South Africa. I was privileged to recruit candidates for Vortala and Pronto as a client through the recruitment agency. All the members of Vortala and Pronto that I worked with are amazing and when a position became available, I jumped at the chance to join the team.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I consider myself lucky to meet so many great people from different countries and cultures. I have learned a great deal from the conversations I have with candidates! It's rewarding to make a difference in someone's life by helping them find a new job. It's equally as rewarding helping the teams to find great people. The most rewarding thing is to see them grow personally and to see them make a difference in the teams they join.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love the outdoors and spending time with my family. I have a 7 year old boy and we like to stay active. Living in cape town means there is great beaches, hiking trails, and food markets to explore. I enjoy watching series and movies. I love to read when I have the time.
What might people be surprised to find out about you?
I have travelled extensively and spent 2 years traveling all over the world. Some of the places I have visited include Spain, Italy, Portugal, France, Jamaica, Barbados, Puerto Ricco, Columbia, Panama, Mexico, Bermuda, and Bahamas. I have also visited the US and spent a lot of time in Miami. I lived in Brazil for 2 years and relocated back to Cape Town, South Africa.
