What led you to Vortala?
Funny enough – my mom works here! She's been singing the praises of Perfect Patients ever since she started. A position opened up, I applied to it – and found myself on this wonderful team after a couple adjustments (pardon the pun).

What do you love most about your job?
Before coming here, I worked in many facets of business and community management. What I love most about my role as a PPC Specialist is engaging new types of clients I had never worked with before. I love when clients I work with have an "AH HA!" moment and can run forward on their own with a strategy or plan we make together!

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love drumming, reading, and hanging out with my little dog Kipper. You can also find me trying new coffee shops on the weekends and evenings. And enjoying a cigar and nice glass of scotch with my good buddies occasionally. I've also been known to frequent the San Antonio Zoo and spend lots of time with the Okapi there.

What might people be surprised to find out about you?
That I am an introvert at heart. I love my personal space – but I also love people a TON and thrive in small groups and one-on-one engagements. I love being intentional and encouraging people, even strangers.

Other than that, I have some talents that I've been blessed with. Juggling and making a mean cup of pour over coffee to name a couple.

I also was a bit of a traveler before COVID hit, I've been to a few countries and count is a joy and honor to have made friends in other nations. This allows me to expand my worldview and learn a TON about different cultures and approaches to life, faith, and being a human.
