What led you to Perfect Patients?
In 2010, I decided to take a trip around-the-world to celebrate my 40th birthday and maintained a blog to document my travels. Part of that creation involved website building, search engine optimization, and content marketing. Along the way, I did freelance work in local digital marketing and all of these skills paved my way to Perfect Patients.
I was overjoyed when I found this position. The company’s mission statement resonated with me. Plus, the ability to work at home allowed me to continue my nomadic lifestyle of moving to a new place every so often and experiencing a new adventure. It’s been a great match, not only professionally, but for my personality as well. I’m passionate about learning, supporting our clients and production department.
How has chiropractic impacted your life?
Being raised in a family who turned to traditional Western-style medicine, chiropractic wasn’t really on my radar until I started this job. As I read our clients’ websites, my beliefs aligned with chiropractic’s drug-free, nonsurgical philosophy. Though I don’t have any medical issues, I’ve seen a chiropractor since to maintain my health.
How do you spend your spare time?
In 2016, I came to Cancun to visit another Perfect Patients employee, thinking I’d stay for six months. Soon, though, I was hanging out with fellow expats, enjoying the culture and realized I wanted to stay. When I’m not working, I’m either surfing the web, playing with my cat, studying Spanish, meeting-up with other expats (Lucha Libre, anyone?), or exploring the Yucatan.
