How does Smile Marketing generate New Patients?
First we drive prospective patients to your website by ranking you on page #1 of Google and listing you on SmileGuide.com. Then the site content and professional design converts these prospects to new patients.

Can I edit content on my site?
Yes you can. You can add, edit or delete content pages with the simple-to-use content management system.

Plus, if you make a mistake, one click and you can return the page to the way it was. So there's never any risk of losing content.
What if I already practice website?
Upgrading is easy! You keep your current website domain and we simply transfer it so it's hosted on Smile Marketing dedicated servers. To fast track the development of your Smile Marketing site, we can harvest any of your content you wish to retain from your current site. When you approve your new site to go live, switching off your old site and replacing it with your new Smile Marketing site is simple - we look after this for you.
What if I don't like some of the Smile Marketing content?
No problems. Every page is editable. Just let us know and we’ll make the changes to text and/or images as you direct.
Will my Smile Marketing website be HIPAA compliant?
Yes. Every patient opts-in to become a member of your site. Site membership is seen as an extension of the care your deliver in your office. Every piece of patient communication from your website has the provision to opt-out. No diagnosis is ever linked with a patient's name or other personal information. Website membership is password protected, encrypted and can only be accessed by you or those on your office team you nominate.
Can I post videos on my site?
Yes you can. In fact, we encourage you to do so because video content converts new patients much better than text content.
You can do this yourself through the content management system or, for a more professional result, have your Smile Marketing Account Manager publish the video for you for a nominal fee.
Will my site have American English or British English?
For all Smile Marketing clients in Commonwealth countries, we automatically include the Queen's English!
Can I see the newsletters before they are sent to my patients?
Yes. We'll alert you about a week before newsletters are broadcast so you can familiarize yourself with the content and be prepared for any questions patients might ask. And if you need any changes to your newsletter text or images, simply let your Account Manager know and he or she will make the changes at no charge.
Does my site show visitor statistics?
Yes. Your Perfect Patients site includes a statistics package that is second to none. Besides the most obvious metrics, drill down to find out the source of your site visitors, the most popular pages on your site and how long they spend on your site.
What happens at the end of the one-year agreement?
We expect to exceed your expectations and that you'll want to renew! Like you, we want to create a long-term relationship with our clients. If you decide not to renew, we'll transfer your domain to whomever you specifym and thank you for the opportunity to be of service and part friends.
What's included in the Setup fee?
Your site is custom designed. In the design and development phase, we also:
- Personalize the Smile Marketing content and setting up the online console so you can edit the content of your site whenever you wish.
- Optimize your site for Google and the major search engines
- Setup your premium listings on Smile Guide
- Publish practice-specific content, such as your biography, services, office hours, photos and countless other details to make sure you have a website you’ll be proud of
What do I get for the monthly Subscription Fee?
Others call it a hosting fee because all they do is host your site. But since Smile Marketing as a website “service”, we call it a Subscription fee. On your behalf, while you're doing what you love, we:
- Monitor and refine your site’s search engine optimization to stay on top of Google and the other search engines.
- Refresh your homepage weekly with three new feature articles
- Research, write and send on your behalf your Practice e-Newsletter to site members (patients) and subscribers (prospects).
- Email your newest site members with invitations to participate in the interactive e-Learning
- Follow your direction to edit any pages with new pictures, new staff, new hours and make any other changes at no charge etc.
In other words, we "work" your site for you so your Internet presence pays its way by attracting new patients, stimulating referrals and increasing retention.
How long does it take before my site is live?
The current world record is 3 days! But typically, it takes about a month to customize your site to reflect what makes your practice different and special.
How much does it cost?

How do I sign up?
Start by downloading our Service Agreement. Complete and fax it to the number on the form and we'll get started.
